Grant Writing | Siobhan Riordan

Siobhan Riordan, the exhibition associate for the Open Society Documentary Photography Project, will host a 2-day workshop on grant writing at this year’s Chobi Mela. The session draws from her experience at the Documentary Photography Project as a starting point for thinking about your own project proposals and funding opportunities. Participants will come away from the workshop having drafted and edited a new or updated proposal for one of their own current projects.

Workshop topics include:

- What to do before you get started

- Planning for the phases of grant writing

- Sample project proposal and budget

- An inside look at selection process timeline

- A hands-on proposal writing assignment
