This workshop, conducted by Paolo Patrizi, will provide the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the production of a photographic project. The purpose is to develop individual and creative approach in documentary photography and to learn how to work in unfamiliar territories. Over the course of the workshop, students will learn various ways to tell stories, which advance their personal vision and build their professional identities. The process will focus on the basic steps required to build stories- starting from an idea, moving on to sequencing. and finally, the editing. Patrizi will take time out of the workshop to make the participants write their personal essays on the city of Dhaka. The goal of the workshop is to develop and preserve the personal vision of work in the process of storytelling, and to produce an elaborate photo essay about the city.
