Querencia portrays a decade of my story: it is a composition of my relationships, my home, family and the events that transpired.

It has taken me several years to become comfortable with the idea of sharing my intimate experiences. Living through these events have profoundly shaped who I am and, in many ways have made me sensitive to my surroundings and people.

We all encounter situations in our lives which are similar. Memories and their sharing often create spaces to heal by enabling us to relate to those around us and the common courses that life takes us in.

Our stories make us familiar to each other.
